Monks of Holy Transfiguration Monastery

Holy Transfiguration Monastery was founded in 1958 by Fr. Panteleimon, a monk of Greek descent, who became a monk on the Holy Mountain of Athos in Greece in the Russian Monastery of Saint Panteleimon. Since its foundation it contributed greatly to the monastic and spiritual life in MA. the Choir of the Holy Transfiguration Monastery succeeded in introducing Byzantine Greek and Russian Slavonic traditions to the English speaking faithful.
