Choir of Mount Lebanon

The School of Ecclesiastic Music (SEM) of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Mount Lebanon was established in 1997. It is a department of the Archdiocese working with the blessings of his Eminence bishop George (Khodr) and it aims at spreading Byzantine Music in Lebanon and in the world, especially amongst the youth (Evangelization Objective).The School: SEM developed a new revolutionary teaching curriculum spanning more than seven years and focusing on practice. Moreover, the school regularly publishes articles regarding Byzantine Music.The Choir: SEM choir is one of the leading Antiochian Byzantine choirs, and has built a local, regional and international reputation with its prominent style and professionalism. So far, the school has released 17 Albums.
